Split 1965 Conference

The First Yearly Counseling of Sociologists on "Social self-management in Yugoslavia" in organization of Yugoslav sociological association was held in Split (Yugoslavia), February 11-14, 1965. In the Counseling participated interested social scientists and researchers from Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, France, England, USA, Canada and Holland.

15 papers were printed in advance and sent to participants. All contributions were divided in four thematic groups:

  • Some general problems concerning relationship between socialism and self-management,
  • Self-management as social institution,
  • Problems of social management and self-management in the sphere of culture,
  • Self-management in the commune.
