The Dictionary of Participation and Self-management
When you enter the new concept to the Participation and Self-Management dictionary try to include in your entry all basic variants of the interpretation of that concept among the typical representatives of structural-functional positivist, interactive phenomenological interpretative and new materialist inverted dialectical approaches to the study of the workers' participation and self-management. (More about above mentioned theoretical, methodological and practical political approaches to study of any social phenomenon can be found in the following sections of The Sociology of Knowledge course at the Belgrade University Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Sociology: Funcionalist - positivist paradigm, two variants; Phenomenological-interpretative paradigm; New-materialistically inverted dialectical paradigm ).
In the section "The concept" enter in CAPITAL LETTERS the concept you are defining. In the section "Keywords" enter synonyms, antonyms and theoretical concepts associated with the notion that you are entering into the dictionary one by one in line, not just separated by a comma.
After writing a summary of basic types of interpretation of the selected concept in your own words, add bibliographic information about the vocabulary or other secondary and primary source literature that you used while formulating your entries. Specify in alphabetic order the last name and first name of the author/s or the first editor/s if there are more of them, year of publication, the exact name of the secondary dictionary or the primary source text that you consulted, the title of a book or magazine in which the used source had been published, publisher's name, place of publication of the cited edition, number of volume/s if there are more of them or of the journal in which the consulted text was published, or the URL of the texts published on the Internet.
After you correct any eventual typing errors while you were retyping the text between the quotation marks from your primary or secondary source, check section "this entry will be automatically linked" (if this is not already the case) and press the button "Save Changes". Then in the "cloud” enter your comment of your quotations – your interpretation of citation or concept definition, pointing to possible ambiguity or open-ended questions and making the comparison with the concepts associated with the given concept in the texts of the same and / or other authors. All participants are welcomed to comment already offered definitions of the given concept , helping thus to improve the existing definition of the respective concept.
I plead with all participants who are entering concepts into this English version of the Dictionary, to do this preferably in English language, so that your entries and their comments could be registered by the browser, which is set to register English words in this dictionary. It is of course possible to enter concepts in other languages too, but the browser might not be able to register them and detect through the search engine and automatically link them to the same concept in texts published within the Participation and Self-management Research Network section of the ISA rc10 Internet Forum.
